Trim Levels of the 2025 GMC Yukon XL

Elevation

The base Elevation trim features a 5.3L V8 engine that produces 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic comes standard with 2WD, and 4WD is available for better capability on off-road terrain. With this powertrain, the Elevation model can tow up to 8,400 pounds. The available 3.0L Turbo Diesel engine puts out 305 horsepower and 492 lb-ft of torque.

This trim treats you to luxury appointments such as leather-appointed seats, heated front and second-row seats, 8-way power front seats, a heated steering wheel, and tri-zone automatic climate control. You’ll also get USB ports on all rows, wireless charging, and a 10-speaker Bose surround audio system. A 16.8-inch center display comes standard, offering wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot to keep you connected.

AT4

The AT4 trim is available with the 5.3L V8, the diesel engine, or a 6.2L V8 that makes 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Built for off-road capability, the AT4 comes standard with 4WD, performance front skid plates, and 20-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. Interior comfort is enhanced with heated and ventilated front seats. The rear seats have a power-folding feature that lets you expand the cargo volume with the touch of a button.

AT4 Ultimate

The AT4 Ultimate is offered with either the 3.0L diesel engine or the 6.2L V8, with standard 4WD. It builds on the AT4’s rugged styling with an adaptive air ride suspension that offers better clearance over rocky trails and makes rides feel smoother. This trim also offers useful towing tech like hitch view, side blind zone steering assist with trailering, and an integrated trailer brake controller.

It amps up interior comfort with full-grain leather seats, massaging front seats, and a rear climate control system. Super Cruise hands-free tech is standard, along with an 18-speaker Bose stereo and a 15-inch head-up display.

Denali

The Denali trim is all about comfort and refinement. It carries over the AT4 Ultimate’s engine options and comes with either 2WD or 4WD. Leather-appointed seats come standard, plus comforts such as heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a heated steering wheel. A head-up display is also included.

Denali Ultimate

Building on the Denali, the Denali Ultimate upgrades to an adaptive air ride suspension that enhances comfort in all road conditions. It also carries over the AT4 Ultimate’s interior upgrades, such as full-grain leather seating surfaces, massaging front seats, rear climate controls, an 18-speaker Bose sound system, and Super Cruise hands-free driving tech.
