Heavy Duty Meets High Tech: The 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD

Power

The Sierra 2500 comes with a 6.6L V8 gas engine and an Allison 10-speed automatic transmission. This combo gives drivers an impressive 401 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 464 lb.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm.

The available 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel V8 engine is also paired with an Allison 10-speed automatic transmission and provides 470 horsepower at 2800 rpm and 975 lb.-ft. of torque at 1600 rpm.

Technology

Inside the new Sierra 2500, there’s a GMC Infotainment system with a color touchscreen. This system has a number of fun features to make all your rides more interesting, including connectivity options like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You’ll also have access to SiriusXM radio for an endless array of music and entertainment channels!

Safety

The Sierra 2500 HD comes with the complete Sierra HD Pro Safety package. This assistive driving package includes several different functions that look out for potential hazards on the road and take action to avoid collisions. These functions include:

Exterior

The Sierra is available in several different color choices, including Onyx Black, Cardinal Red, Downpour Metallic, Thunderstorm Gray, and Volcanic Red Tintcoat.

Interior

The Sierra 2500 HD has 4-way manual driver and front passenger seating built into its 40/20/40 split-bench front seat. This bench seat also contains an under-seat storage area for travel essentials or small work tools. The rear bench seat is a 60/40 split that can fold down on either side for increased cargo space.

Other notable interior features include the 6-speaker audio system, 3.5-inch driver information center, USB ports, and power windows.
