2023 GMC Yukon

With the 2023 Yukon, you'll get a prominent grille with red GMC lettering in the center, a rectangular lower grille, a sculpted hood, a boxy profile, and skid plates. You can choose SLE, SLT, AT4, Denali, or Denali Ultimate trim levels. Standard features include active grille shutters, 18-inch wheels, up to 10 inches of ground clearance, all-season tires, acoustic glass, and black assist steps.

Moving up the trim levels gets you heated power side mirrors, roof rails, tinted windows, a rear windshield wiper, fog lights, automatic high beams, and rain-sensing wipers. You can add 20- or 22-inch wheels, auto-dimming side mirrors, front and rear splash guards, and a hands-free power liftgate. A panoramic power sunroof, power assist steps, and puddle lights are also optional. Available colors include Midnight Blue Metallic, Onyx Black, Titanium Rush Metallic, Volcanic Red Tintcoat, Pearl Beige Metallic, Sterling Metallic, Redwood Metallic, and Summit White.

This SUV comes with a 5.3-liter V-8 motor generating 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. You can also choose a 6.2-liter V-8 that produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. There's also a 3-liter, turbo diesel engine that offers 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque as well. All three options use a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The Yukon offers outstanding performance and a smooth ride. It comes with sport and tow-haul driving modes. It gets 15 mpg in urban areas and 20 mpg on the highway. You can add the Active Response four-wheel drive-system for better maneuverability off-road or in slippery conditions. Vehicles with four-wheel drive have an off-road mode as well. You can also choose a trailer brake controller, trailer tire pressure and temperature sensors, an engine block heater, a trailering app, and trailer hitch guidance.
